Hannah Smith: 1999 - Aug. 2, 2013

Fourteen-year-old Hannah Smith was found hanged in her Luttersworth, Leicestershire, England home on Aug. 2, 2013, by her older sister Jo. Hannah is just one of the many victims of cyber bullying through the site Ask.FM.

The website is a Latvia-based social networking site that allows users to ask other users questions with the option of anonymity. Users on the social networking website would tell Hannah that she should "go kill herself," "drink bleach and go die," or "go cut yourself and die."

According to Dave Smith, Hannah's father, there were no signs of depression or indication that Hannah would commit suicide. In a shocking twist, police released a statement in February 2014 that in the days before her death, Ask.FM revealed that 98% of the trolling messages came from the IP address of Hannah's computer.

Hannah's family believes that she was still bullied however, they are not sure who was doing the cyber bullying.
